Monitors students in a variety of educational environments (e.g. classroom, cafeteria, playground, field trips, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
Supports classroom teachers for the purpose of assisting them in the implementation of established curriculum and/or individual student plans
Prepares a variety of written materials and correspondence (e.g. grades, progress reports, attendance, anecdotal records, etc.) for the purpose of documenting student progress and meeting mandated requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement
Teacher certification- completed or in process
Commitment to and experience working with underserved communities
Determination to drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students
